Do's and Dont's of Shopping

What are the things that one should not do when going shopping is to go to the store with 

something specific in mind because then you will 

not see all of the things that are super cute and you will look at them super ugly because what you see is not what you are looking for, you have to go with a willing mind to other options.

This is an example of a shopping addiction please do not be like that , going to spend an entire paycheck on things which the MAJORITY do not need , think well what you need and make yourselves this question: if I want but I don't need don't buy it , but if need it buy it ?
